A barn find! This is a remote reading thermograph made by the leading French instrument makers, Jules Richard. This is rare because in the majority of cases the capillary tube has been cut between the outside sensor and the inner movement. This one is complete and the pen arm moves freely when holding the remote sensor. An integral cast iron base and wall bracket allows the case to be wall mounted if required. This instrument has a seven day clock (working) and a range of -10’C to +40’C which is ideal for the UK climate. Obviously the thermograph needs some cleaning and the glass panel to the front has broken and will need replacing but its all there and would make a simple and rewarding restoration project.
