A circa 1950s standard barograph by Negretti & Zambra, London. All complete, original and in excellent working order. The movement comprises of four large spun metal diaphragms and on test has proved very sensitive to small pressure fluctuations. The barograph has been carefully stored for many years and the oak case would now benefit from a good clean and polish, making an ideal instrument for a simple and rewarding restoration project.
A quantity of charts is included together with a fresh bottle of special blue or red recording ink and a reprinted pamphlet by Negretti & Zambra describing operating instructions and how to interpret typical chart recordings.
