This Casella instrument has a traditional style polished mahogany case with bevelled glass to the lift-off lid; chart drawer to the base etc, combined with a lovely innovative designed aneroid movement and one of the last produced by this long-established company. Initially developed for the larger, open scale barograph, the movement is of the ‘Jib’ crane style and has proved to be extremely accurate and sensitive to small pressure movements.
