A lovely Victorian marine style aneroid barometer by R & J Beck, Cornhill, London. Nice clear dial with weather predictions in various type styles. There is curved Fahrenheit thermometer around the lower half of the dial. The movement is set into a brass case with bevelled glass. This is a quality working instrument with original set hand/knob with arrow style pointer & sturdy brass hanging ring.
Excellent condition for its age. There is a small ding on the back (obviously not visible when the barometer is hung in place).
