This is a lovely large & impressive late Victorian barometer set into an ebonized hardwood surround with carved oak leaves around the perimeter. The open scale weather predictions are printed in black (red capitals) on the inside of the bevelled glass. This is a particularly large example – a 215mm diameter to the dial surround & 330mm overall. Fully working.
