This is an attractive and very unusual barograph supplied by A R Baines of Station Road, Harrogate, Yorkshire. The case, in polished mahogany has been  used as the base to carry the barograph movement creating a lovely, minimalist design.  The first style I've seen in 60 years and in excellent overall condition.

A quantity of charts is included together with a fresh bottle of special blue or red recording ink and a reprinted pamphlet by Negretti & Zambra describing operating instructions and how to interpret typical chart recordings.
