This is a Campbell Stokes sunshine recorder signed by the manufacturer, Negretti & Zambra, London on the 230mm square solid slate base. The overlapping N&Z logo is also engraved on the base. This instrument consists of a cast brass bowl & pedestal surrounding a solid glass sphere. This particular instrument is for temperate latitudes with 57’ 20 engraved on the bowl support.
